On November 21, 2024, Zetech University’s Ruiru Campus hosted a key meeting of National Government Administration Officers (NGAO) led by the Kiambu County Commissioner, Mr. Henry Wafula. The gathering brought together the Deputy County Commissioners from Juja and Ruiru Sub-Counties, alongside chiefs from the two regions, to discuss collaborative strategies for local development and governance.

The meeting was officially opened by the Deputy County Commissioner for Juja Mr. Charles Mureithi, who welcomed the participants and outlined the agenda. Ruiru Deputy County Commissioner, Mr. Julius Too, underscored the value of collective leadership in addressing community challenges.

Mr. John Mwai, Zetech University’s Director of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, highlighted the university’s alignment with the governance pillar of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. He emphasised Zetech University’s commitment to accountability, compliance, and fostering partnerships with government institutions. Mr. Mwai also spotlighted new academic programs set to launch in January 2025 and a university initiative offering scholarships to talented, economically disadvantaged students.

The meeting reinforced Zetech University’s role as a catalyst for collaboration between educational and government institutions. By hosting such forums, the university exemplifies its dedication to responsible management, community impact, and providing transformative opportunities for youth development.
