Zetech University’s Tourism fraternity marked a significant milestone at the final Sustainable Travel & Tourism Africa (STTA) - Young Change Makers (YCM) seminar held at the iconic Giraffe Centre in Karen. The event, organised in collaboration with Tour Operators Society of Kenya (TOSK) and the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife Kenya (AFEW), provided invaluable insights into industrial exposure and practical learning opportunities for students.

Zetech University received prestigious awards for outstanding performance in sustainability from STTA, TOSK, and AFEW. Notably, Mr. Charles Odhiambo, our dedicated faculty member, was honoured as the Most Committed Faculty Member 2024 for his exceptional mentorship in sustainability—a recognition endorsed by students, staff, and partners.

he University’s participation and achievements have also been spotlighted in the STTA-YCM Annual Report 2024, endorsed by UNESCO. The event concluded with engaging sustainability demonstrations and an insightful tour of the Giraffe Centre’s facilities.
