Varsity in High Spirits ahead of Graduation

The excitement is tangible at the Zetech University campuses as we gear up for a memorable 2018 graduation ceremony slated for 16th November 2018. The journey to graduation is often plagued with highs
and lows and various challenges one must overcome to be conferred a Degree or awarded a Diploma.

The University has a lot in store for the graduands and their guardians this year, looking to announce various developments designed to enhance service provision and provide learners with an exceptional campus experience.

This year’s ceremony is centred on releasing graduates who can excel in a professional world, who can make use of the digital space to influence the world. The theme is Developing technopreneurial human capital for sustainable development and the Chief Guest for the day will be accomplished scholar Prof. Olive Mugenda.

Commenting on the event, new Registrar Academics Peter Osumba highlighted that the thousands of graduands will be treated to an exciting event as they are released to make a difference in the Country, continent and the world. “We have students in our Degree and Diploma prorammes who will be graduating following successful completion of their studies. We love educating and equipping learners with the skills required to serve as outstanding professionals and entrepreneurs across the world.” said Mr. Osumba.

Congratulating the graduating class for a job well done, VC Prof. Njenga Munene noted that the learning experience at Zetech is structured to challenge students to think critically and generate solutions that can impact industry.
“We are excited to release the graduating class of 2018 who we believe are competent professionals who will outclass their peers,” said Prof. Munene, adding, “The ceremony will be an unforgettable experience for students, guardians, staff and our other stakeholders as it will signify the growth we have experienced over the years.

Graduating student Consolata Njue, a Bachelor of Business Administration and Management {Finance Option} expressed her excitement ahead of the ceremony, as she waits for her name to be read in the First Class Honour awardees list. She said, “”I believe Zetech University has empowered me to tackle any situation with ease as I pursue my career. I feel that my degree is a stepping stone to pursue a Master’s Degree and even a PhD. I am really ecstatic as I wait for the ceremony.” she said.

This year, as we graduate an increased number of Degree students and award Diplomas, the University will introduce the recently appointed University Council and launch other initiatives geared towards building a world class university.
