Commenting on the event, Moses Maina, Registrar Academics shared that the session is critical in preparing the students for their life in campus and enlightening them on what the University offers them as students as well as what is expected of them. He said, “We are always excited to specially welcome our new students and take a few days to interact with them, orient them on our university processes to ensure they make the most of the services available to them.”
As the students who are taking courses in different faculties under the Zetech University and Zetech Career Centre programmes settled in, they were treated to an encouraging word by the varsity’s Acting Vice Chancellor and DVC-Academics, Research and Extension Dr. Alice Njuguna who took time to speak to the students and guardians on what it takes to enjoy a successful campus life.
“This is an exciting and important time in your life and we are delighted that you chose to come to Zetech University. Here, we expect that you will keenly take part in your classes and listen to the wisdom shared with you by your trainers and other administration officers as wise words are food to the soul.” said Dr. Njuguna.
