New Students excited to report for May Semester
It was a celebratory mood at the Zetech University Thika Road campus as hundreds of new students and their guardians reported for orientation, a compulsory event ushering learners to their campus of choice.
The esteemed guests were treated to a memorable day as the Admissions team assisted them to complete their registration and responded to their unanswered questions.
During the session, the new trainees gathered together for a special presentation at the University modern auditorium by programme leaders, fellow students and the institution’s management.
Welcoming the new learners to Zetech, the Registrar Academic was impressed by the turn out and the heightened passion for quality education. “We appreciate our new students and welcome them to Zetech, where we will walk with them as they invent their future.” said Peter Osumba, Registrar Academic. He noted that the demand for quality training has driven the high numbers with hundreds from all over the country opting for Zetech.
Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academics, research, Extension and Student Affairs took time to interact with the new comers who are pursuing different courses at what they consider the best University in Kenya. She chatted with them as they verified their documents and took time to advise them on how to plan for campus life.
After learning about the necessary processes, students were cautioned to maintain discipline and steer clear from alcohol and drugs, immorality, corruption and negative behavior. Encouraged by the Dean of Student Affairs department to make the right choices in picking friends and using campus time, students were also informed on the University dress code and grooming matrix which prepares students for the professional and entrepreneurial world.
As these students begin their classes, the institution waits eagerly to host over 1000 government sponsored students placed by KUCCPS to pursue various degree programmes among the most marketable courses in Kenya.
