On 23rd August 2024, Zetech University welcomed the Commercial Consular of the Pakistan High Commission led by Ms. Adela Yunis, Commercial counsellor at the Pakistan High Commission and Mr. Bonventure Obinda, trade and development officer at the High commission and representatives from the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) led by the Chair Richard Ndung’u, of the Kiambu Chapter for an insightful discussion on potential collaborations. This significant engagement centered on fostering partnerships with universities in Pakistan and organising trade fairs, reflecting Zetech University's strategic pillar of international partnerships and Collaborations.
The visit underscored the university’s commitment to playing a pivotal role in deepening Kenya- Pakistan relations. Discussions highlighted key sectors such as Agriculture & Agribusiness, Education & Trainings, Trade & Investments, and Urban Planning. The delegation sought to explore the wealth of investment opportunities available in Kiambu County and to establish meaningful partnerships with both the County Government and the University.
