Certificate in Nutrition, Food Science and Health-CNFSH
This programme offers skills in quality assurance, product development, research, food inspection, and food plant management and consumer education. The course blends a strong science base with courses in nutrition, food science, food safety and food microbiology. The curriculum prepares students for employment in the food industry or in government.
Product/process development scientist
Train learners to apply knowledge of the role of nutrition and healthy eating for disease prevention and wellness,
To enable trainees to understand the structure and components of food systems and analyze the relationships between nutritional health and food selection,
To empower students to utilise the nutrition care process to identify nutrition-related problems and determine as well as evaluate nutrition interventions.

Two (2) trimesters
Minimum Entry Requirements
KCSE aggregate Grade D or its equivalent as ascertained by the Ministry of Education and any other requirements as set by KNDI.
The mandatory subjects shall be D in English and Biology/Biological sciences and Chemistry/Physical Sciences.
Additional subjects shall be D in any of the following:
Assess, develop and apply requisite competencies for Hospitality and Tourism management;
Analyse, evaluate and solve managerial problems that utilise quantitative reasoning concepts, critical thinking in all sectors of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry in a global, cultural and diverse society,
