Zetech University welcomed a host of young men and women to the varsity’s fraternity following a successful September intake in the Zetech Career centre programme dubbed ZCC. The trainees eagerly interacted with the varsity team in the well refurbished auditorium appreciating the opportunity to study in the University of their Choice.

The University Deputy Registrar (Enrollment & University Advancement) Peter Osumba congratulated and extended a warm welcome to the successful students joining the ZCC programme for having been selected to join Zetech to pursue their careers and begin inventing their future.

“Allow me to congratulate you for choosing to study at a reputable University. Zetech is an institution where students get the opportunity to grow academically, build on life skills and develop talents.” He said.

Speaking to the students, VC Prof. Edwin Wamukoya stated that the varsity aims at being the best in the world in moulding academic giants and holistic graduates. “We aim to produce brilliant students who will stand out. University will open up your minds and make you inquisitive. You are here to invent your future, walk your purpose,” he said.

The new learners also interacted with the varsity DVC-Academic, Research and Extension, Dr. Alice Njuguna. The cordial DVC, who refers to herself as a digital leader reminded the students of their core mission in Campus, noting that some students tend to lose focus along the way,

“Congratulations on your achievement. We are delighted to receive a team of young gents and ladies impassioned about different careers. As you learn, feel free to walk into my office for any assistance to ensure you live a comfortable campus life.” noted Dr. Njuguna
Lighting up the event was Daniel Baraza, Zetech media student and comedian popularly known as Mtumishi. He wowed the crowd and encouraged the charming students to choose the company they keep wisely during the campus stay.

On matters Student Affairs, the Dean in charge Elizabeth Muhia congratulated the students for successfully joining Zetech and emphasised the varsity’s keenness on discipline. She further cautioned them to be careful in their interactions following the freedom attached to life on campus.
“I join the team in welcoming you to Zetech. Here we grow talent, provide academic excellence and enhance moral integrity.” She said, adding, “Remember, indiscipline is not condoned at Zetech and all students must abide by the university’s set rules and regulations and lead a disciplined life throughout campus.”

The University wishes the newest students a successful stay on campus and encourages them to do their best.
