About the Department:
The Centre for Professional Certification (CPC) department deals with internal and external certification, allowing current and incoming students with an opportunity to enroll for skill-based courses that can set them apart in the market. The courses are available to trainees who want to build their knowledge on skills required in a digital expanding society. The courses range between 2 weeks to 6 months, and the areas of specialization cover IT, design and financial accounting. The target market includes form four leavers who want to get a head start on learning and professionals eager to sharpen their skills.

Department Activities:
Our trainees are encouraged throughout their time of study through activities e.g.  Hackfest, where they can learn, network and engage with peers. In addition, they are allowed to make use of equipped computer labs at designated times so as to research and practice their skills. They also benefit from specialised career talks and can join the varsity ICT Club.


Clubs
The IT Faculty hosts an interactive ICT Club which allows active students with to participate in insightful talks with IT experts, excursions to expose students to the real world of IT practice, Boot camps to build creativity and boost innovation among eager learners as well as monthly engagements to build on knowledge gained in class.
